Yesterday I dyed cotton gauze. Pink colour appeared to be really lovely:) so I used it for a girly soft items – nuno felted pink dress and felted baby blanket with silk butterflies

Color & fiber play

Play with colors and fiber. Various shades gives color, different fibers will show themselves in felt. Bamboo, flax and ramie will make biger waves, silk and viscose will give some shine. Fiber art batts of merino and silk are in my Etsy shop.

Felted soles

One more kind of a soles for felted footwear - felted soles.
My customer asked for the clogs without any soles of rubber, because she has a chemical sensitive disorder. Thank you for this idea, Lisa! I like how slippers looks with these soles. I think will use such soles for my clogs more frequently, just will add a patches of rubber in the area of toes and heel.
